1. Data Controller

Seclodian is the data controller for personal data collected via this website and waitlist. For platform (B2B SaaS) customer data, Seclodian acts as a data processor under your instructions as data controller.

2. What Data We Collect

Website visitors & waitlist members:

• Email address — when you join our waitlist or contact us. Used solely to notify you of product updates and availability.
• Name — optionally provided via the contact form.
• Usage data — basic web analytics (pages visited, referrer, browser type) collected via privacy-respecting analytics. No cross-site tracking.

Platform customers (when the product launches): Audit evidence, user accounts, activity logs, and configuration data necessary to deliver the platform service. This data is governed separately by your Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with Seclodian.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

Under DPDPA (Section 4) and GDPR (Art. 6), all personal data collected on this website is processed only on the basis of your explicit, freely given consent, which you provide by ticking the consent checkbox on each form before submitting.

• Waitlist form consent — you consent to Seclodian storing your email address to notify you about early access and product updates.
• Contact form consent — you consent to Seclodian storing your name, email, and message to respond to your enquiry.
• Contract — where processing is necessary to fulfil a service agreement (applies when the platform launches).

We record the time and purpose of consent for each submission. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing contact@seclodian.ai. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal.

4. How We Use Your Data

• To notify you when Seclodian early access is available.
• To respond to inquiries submitted via the contact form.
• To improve the website and product based on aggregate usage patterns.
• To comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for automated profiling or targeted advertising.

5. Data Retention

Waitlist email addresses are retained until the waitlist closes or you unsubscribe, whichever comes first. Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months. You may request deletion at any time (see §8).

6. International Transfers

Seclodian operates infrastructure on AWS (Amazon Web Services) in the Asia-Pacific region. Where data is transferred outside the EEA or India, we ensure adequate safeguards are in place (Standard Contractual Clauses or AWS Data Processing Addendum).

We use only essential cookies required for the site to function. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.

8. Your Rights

Under GDPR and DPDPA you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectify inaccurate data.
• Erase your data (“right to be forgotten”).
• Restrict or object to processing.
• Data portability (receive your data in a machine-readable format).
• Withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior lawful processing).

9. Security

We implement technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption at rest and in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews. As an audit-focused product, security is a core product requirement, not an afterthought.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated to waitlist members by email and noted with an updated effective date above.
